A model was dumped from the Anthony Mundine vs Danny Green fight not because her 'breasts were too big', but because of her 'attitude', a fellow ring girl claims.

Sev Philippou said she was initially chosen by promoters as one of four girls to hold up cards inside the ring to let the crowd know which round is about to begin.

But just hours before the controversial fight, the 25-year-old claimed she was told she was no longer needed after going in for a dress fitting, organised by SA Tourism.

She claimed it was discrimination for her bra size, but Leah Matuszek, one of the three girls employed for the match, said it was just 'sour grapes'.

'We were told they wanted natural, professional girls with minimal make-up... but she lacked professionalism and experience. It was her attitude and the way she conducted herself throughout the process,' she told the Adelaide Advertiser

The 20-year-old said bra size was 'definitely not' make-or-break for being selected as she too had large breasts but was successful.

'The selection process itself was very professional and it’s disgraceful to suggest otherwise,' she said.

Ms Philippou insisted not only that both the fight promoters and model casting agency told her she was cut because her breasts were too big for the dress, but she was also bustier than Ms Matuszek.

'Why did they tell people it was because of my bust size? I don’t know why she (Ms Matuszek) has come forward... no one from SA Tourism has spoken to me about it since,' she said.

She said last week there was no issue at the fitting and the dress could easily have been altered, but instead 'no one apologised, I was just ignored'.

An SA Tourism spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the promoter has the 'final say on all aspects of the event'.

'Casting is managed by the promoters and is dependent on the event requirements,' the spokesperson said.

Last week she vented on Facebook about being cut and instead given six front-row tickets to watch the fight.

'I am damn proud of my REAL boobs,' she wrote.

'I refuse to sit quietly and be told I do not fit into a ridiculous standard of what a girls body should look like to represent South Australia to the world.

'Especially when the Boxing Association wanted my look and had chosen me to represent there sport tonight.'

She also declared she was bustier than Ms Matuszek, so her argument that she had big breasts too was invalid
