One I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star admitted to "hamming up" her iconic shower scenes as she didn't like being filmed bathing.

Catalina Guirado, who rose to fame as the Gorgeous Girl on TFI Friday, appeared in what was only the second series of I'm A Celeb.

The stunner, who made a living as a model for various lads' mags including FHM, said she had no idea how iconic the shower scenes would become – branding it "ridiculous".

"Honestly, I didn’t even buy a bikini for that. They just said, 'bring something to swim in', so my friend actually gave me that bikini one day when I needed to borrow a swimming costume at her house, and I never gave it back.

"It was something I borrowed and threw in the suitcase, no joke."

She quipped: "That turquoise bikini, it was reversible as well. It had a dark blue side, so I got two for one!"

Catalina continued: "Because I was part of the whole lads' mags thing, like Loaded, I was very used to modelling. I was used to being in a bikini, that wasn't really an issue.

"The funny thing is, when you're bathing in that fake, plastic rock pool [in the jungle], there’s a guy with a camera there just filming you.

"So I’d start to just take the p*** out of it, out of the fact that they were filming me showering. I'd really ham it up to the camera.

"That's the hilarious – but dangerous – part of reality TV. Because unless you know the person, you might wrongly assume that that's what they're like in real life.

"I naturally have a dark sense of humour and I do take the p***, especially out of myself. But it can be portrayed as something else. It's like texting – you really need to know someone to know their tone of voice."

Catalina added that it was "really weird" to film those scenes.

"I had no idea what to expect."
